The Basics

ADDRESS: 3692 Desert Resort Ct., St. George, UT

LOCATION: Southeast of St. George, north side of Highway 7

LAST VISIT: 2024

The rv park was very easy to get to and navigate. The sites had plenty of room between the campers and for the extra vehicle. The laundry room and pool were nice, new, and clean. The staff was welcoming.

They had some extra ammenities that you don't usually see. They occasionally had food trucks stop by, and one night there was a live band by the pool.

It was really well-positioned, giving us easy access to all of the things we wanted to do in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.

The campground is situated between a small airport and a highway, neither of which is particularly busy. We were not fans of the early morning airplane departures, but it was easy to mask the noise with a fan.

The Desert Canyons Mountain Bike trail system was only about a quarter of a mile from the campground, and it was wonderful to be able to hit the trails without needing to load up the bikes and drive to a trail!

Our Opinion

We would definitely stay again. We were impressed by the staff's attention to detail, and they way they kept everything spotless and perfect. We enjoyed the pool on a few of the hot days, and the campground is in a perfect location to use for a home base. The proximity to Highway 7 and I-15 was great for getting to all of our adventures!
We weren't thrilled with the fact that you get the opportunity to hear the live band whether you want to or not, but at least they only had a band for one night out of the month we were there.

Things to See and Do

Snow Canyon State Park
The park is located just northwest of St. George and has a wide variety of different landscape formations for the size of the area. We hiked a couple of the shorter trails, and they were very well thought out routes with great scenery.

Red Cliffs Desert Reserve Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is located within the Washington County Administration Building at 111 E. Tabernacle Street. It's a great resource, and houses interactive displays with information about the area, helpful staff, and even some desert creatures!

Pioneer Park and Red Hills Desert Garden
The combination of the park and botanical garden in one place makes for a great stop. The botanical garden contains many informational displays about area plants, and the park has trails, a mini slot canyon, and a great place to see an overview of the city of St. George.
