The Colorado Grand is an event where the owners of a number of rare classic sports cars and race cars drive through the Colorado countryside on a designated route. The tour stops in various small towns, where spectators can get a close look at the vehicles and talk to the owners.

The tour raises money for charities and college scholarships that benefit the towns that serve as tour stops.

We were able to spend some time looking at the cars in the tour when they stopped in Dolores, Colorado on the 2022 tour route. The two things that were most striking to us were:

These were very rare and valuable cars, and they were actually being driven, not sitting in a museum!

Many of the cars were very unique, and it was fun to get an opportunity to see them in person.

Our Opinion

We had a great time looking at all of the different cars, and we will definitely try to make one of our future trips include a stop along the tour route.
