The Basics

The Views RV Park and Campground was an amazing, "can't miss" experience!

As you can see from the photo, this is the most spacious spot we've ever had in a commercial campground. We parked the fifth wheel and two vehicles "end to end," and you could have easily fit another fifth wheel in the driveway. There were also several feet of space with a lot of trees on both sides between our spot and the adjacent sites. (This was one of the "premium" spots - which are well worth the extra $10.)

Everything worked flawlessly, the laundry facilities were nice and clean, and the owners and host were wonderful, welcoming people.

The location is great - there are countless things to do within a 100 mile radius, and a wonderful view of mountains from right there at the campground.

We enjoyed the campground so much that we actually spent more time than usual at our "home base." One nice feature was a mountain biking/hiking trail located right on the property. The way it wound around through the trees and up and down a hillside made you forget that it was part of the campground. It was perfect for days where we did more sightseeing than hiking, and felt like we needed some physical activity for the day.

They have very low lighting that they utilze at night, which allowed us to do some mikly way photography right from our campsite!

There was an exceptionally nice pavillion with bbq grills and accessories, but we didn't use it.

Our Opinion

This was easily the best campground experience we've ever had!

They have the space between sites, a hiking trail, views, and dark skies at night that you'd associate with a state park,
while providing full hookups, great wifi, and laundry facilities that you'd associate with a commercial campground.
