CANYON VIEW RV RESORT
The Basics
ADDRESS: 746 23 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, CO
LOCATION: South of I-70 at the 24 Road Exit
LAST VISIT: 2024
Everything was great! The campground is easy to navigate, and our site had plenty of room for the truck, fifth wheel, and jeep.
The staff members were exceptionally friendly. (I mention friendly, welcoming staff frequently, but the employees here seemed genuinely happy to be there, and were such a pleasure to work with!)
Everything was clean, well maintained, and worked properly.
The amount of space between sites was far beyond our expectations!
Our Opinion
This is definitely a place we would be happy to return to.
Things to See and Do
Here are some nearby activities that we enjoyed:
Colorado National Monument
Colorado National Monument has stunning scenery, and we saw several bighorn sheep while we were there.
Rattlesnake Arches
Rattlesnake Arches is the second largest collection of natural arches in the world, second only to Arches National Park. The area is accessed by a 4WD road that branches off of the road through Colorado National Monument, and then a hiking trail.
You definitely need high clearance 4WD to make it to the trailhead. It takes about an hour and a half to make it over a 10 mile stretch of road.
